TRANSPORT GEOMETRY STUDY PRACTICAL AT UPM CAMPUS
This transport geometry study was carried out on the UPM campus, with the selected area checkpoint. All the group members are contributing through this practical session, and our group leader is doing a good job in terms of distributing the tasks very evenly to all group members.
I was calculating the volume of the road cross section.
I was measuring the width of the road with a road measurement.
Dr. Syazwani led this session before the practical session began, and he briefed us on the importance of transport geometry studies, how to measure them, and how to calculate them correctly. This session was only for practical purposes, to make sure that we are able to do this transportation geometry study correctly before doing the real fieldwork at Cameron Highland.
